Christian Camps in Dorset
The Camps are led by Ian and Sally Carr and a team of other experienced leaders, and are affiliated to the Dorset Counties Trust, a Registered Charitable Trust, (Charity Number - 269586). The Camps carry full Public Liability Insurance, and all Helpers practise the Camps’ Child Protection Policy and undergo Criminal Records Bureau checks.

Camp Site
For the past ten years we have been based at Carey Outdoor Education Centre, Carey Road, Wareham, Dorset. BH20 7PB, a beautiful 8-acre site. The Camp is mainly under canvas, but there are good facilities for toilets and showers, activities, and cooking and eatingCampers sleep in ridge or bell tents, five to six per tent, and are overseen  by Tent Leaders, who sleep in adjacent tents.

Each Camp week there is a variety of games, outings, swimming trips, competitions, craft sessions etc (all under supervision), and the cost of all these is included in the Camp fee. Pocket money is needed for the Tuck Shop and Christian Bookstall. Each morning there is an accessible and age-relevant Bible-focused teaching session, and each evening a celebration meeting, again with a Bible focus. Camps commence on Monday mornings around 10.00 a.m., and finish on Saturday afternoons around 4.30 p.m.
Applications should be made via the appropriate page on this website (which will be online by the middle of January 2016) - please select a button on the right of this page to proceed further, and follow the instructions
Please note that :
Senior Camp is for young people in current School Years 10-12;
Intermediate Camp is for young people in current School Years 7-9;
Junior Camp is for those in current School Years 5-7.
There is an overlap between Junior and Intermediate Camps, but not elsewhere, as the Camps are designed to be age-relevant.
We cannot guarantee to hold Camp places after June 30th, 2016, if the balance of the Camp Fee has not been paid by then. Bookings will be confirmed and receipts sent by email. Further information will be sent to all campers by June 30th 2016.
Please notify us as soon as possible if you know that a Camper will be unable to take up a reserved place for some reason, and please notify us of any change of address or circumstance.

Although we try to accommodate everyone, Christian Camps in Dorset reserve the right to refuse any application for a camp place where it is considered that a prospective camper may not be suited to Camp, or might prove to require more care than our personnel are able to provide.

In case of financial difficulty, please contact Ian Carr; we have a modest bursary fund.
